Our Purpose

LIFT Women's Mentoring exists to connect women through biblical encouragement, discipleship, friendship, and mutual support.

Mentor Role

  • Share personal experiences and life lessons

  • Provide accountability and support

  • Pray for and encourage mentees

Mentors are not expected to provide professional counseling, crisis intervention, medical advice, legal advice, or financial advice.

Mentee Responsibility

Mentees are encouraged to:

  • Participate actively

  • Communicate respectfully

  • Take responsibility for personal decisions

  • Seek professional help when appropriate

  • Maintain realistic expectations regarding mentoring outcomes

Safety & Boundaries

Participants should maintain appropriate personal boundaries and use wisdom in all interactions.

LIFT encourages meetings in public locations, churches, or other mutually agreed-upon safe environments whenever possible.

Crisis Situations

LIFT Women's Mentoring is not equipped to provide crisis intervention services.

Participants experiencing:

  • Mental health emergencies

  • Suicidal thoughts

  • Domestic violence

  • Abuse situations

  • Medical emergencies

should immediately contact emergency services, a licensed professional, or an appropriate crisis resource.

Matching Disclaimer

While we prayerfully seek compatible mentor-mentee matches, we cannot guarantee compatibility, outcomes, or relationship success.

Christian Perspective

LIFT Women's Mentoring is founded upon biblical principles and Christian values. Mentoring conversations may include discussion of faith, Scripture, prayer, and spiritual growth.

Reporting Concerns

Participants are encouraged to contact ministry leadership if concerns arise regarding safety, conduct, boundaries, or ministry participation.
